Are you a guitar player who wishes you had more time to play? Yeah? Well then you need to read this because I am going to give you one very simple, surefire way to get you doing just that. But first, here’s a little background as to how I arrived at this little tip.
Recently a discussion popped up in the comment section over on GuitarFlame.com about why dreams die. This really got me thinking since I have gone through long stretches in my life where I let my passion for music fall by the wayside for one reason or another.
There was always something; either I didn’t feel as though I was good enough, maybe life got in the way or perhaps my guitar was buried under mounds of crap in a storage unit or basement – Out of site out of mind…not good my friend.
So how can you keep the guitar hummin – and the passion burnin – on a regular basis? Read the rest of this entry

I just had to share this with all you guitar players out there. Check this out. Gibson has developed a self-tuning guitar.
Not only does it handle standard tunings but it also has presets for alternate tunings. Great news for anyone who wants spice up the play list without the need to spend the time or lug around multiple guitars.
Now if someone could come up with a way for the guitar to change its own strings.

This stuff comes right out the “I wish they had this stuff when I was a kid” category. Check out these sites and develop, or start learning, your guitar chops.
Pick your medium. I’ve only found three but I just bet there are quite a bit more

Hey! Do you want a really short blog post telling you where you can go kill some time and maybe even write a hit single?
I thought so.
Go now and check out the website Chordstudio. You can choose your very own chords and then pick the instruments to play them.
No musical talent required and you might even learn something. What could possibly be more entertaining than that?

Are you thinking about learning an instrument or maybe just sharpening your skills? Check out this cool site. A week or so ago I came across this cool site. The good people over at the Berklee School of Music are offering some free music lessons.
They have a little something for everyone. You can get great instruction from these professionals on instruments like guitar, horns, keyboards and drums as well as tips on being a DJ and using turntables. You can also let them help you develop your singing voice.
Check it out. Very cool.

Everydayweekender is a great blog that I read and that you should check out. There was an article about a great piece of technology that would be of interest to music lovers like you and I. But first, a little more on EverydayWeekender.
Besides having a great name, it has an original theme and it is filled with great content. The theme is all about celebrating the weekend (A mindset which I am sure you could get used to). As far as content, there are great articles about old favorites like good beer, poker, horseshoes and great food. There is also a nice helping of sports and finance stuff.
Enough with telling you, go see for yourself. Here is an article that breaks down a piece of outdoor equipment that would do justice to any of the True Goat Music I was telling you about in earlier post. Here you go, the EverydayWeekender reviews the Bosch PD10-CD Power Box. Enjoy!
